eMaze Reflection

I thought this tool was really cool. It was super user friendly, and made it easy to get the students to participate. I liked how when I put in a url, it put in the actual site itself, instead of the link. I would use this as a teacher.

Google Forms Reflection

I liked using this tool. I think it is a great way to get to know the students before they come into the classroom. I also like how the survey provides the option to let the kids give a different answer than the ones you have provided. It was also really to use. I would use this as a teacher.

Prezi Reflection

I really enjoyed using this tool. It was really user friendly. It also had a lot of designs and templates to choose from, this way if you use it more than once, your presentations will not all be the same. I liked how easy it was to add links into my presentation as well. I would  use this as a teacher.

Storybird Book

https://storybird.com/books/how-do-i-get-home-2/?token=q58d3m9c5b

I actually really liked this took. I thought it was nice to choose a group of pictures to use, and there were just a bunch of pictures to build your story around. It was also very user friendly, and has a lot of useful hints. I will most definitely use this tool as a teacher.

Creative Commons Reflection

I did not like this tool at all. Sure it is nice to have, to make sure that no one takes credit for your work, but the website was very hard to navigate. It took me over an hour just to figure out how to attach it to my picture.

Online Photo Editing

For this picture, I intensified the greens, and softened the edges. I also added a little bit of shadow, so that the pink flowers would stand out against the greens.
I changed the exposure on this picture to make it seem a little darker. I also made the temperature of the colors a little colder and saturated it a little bit.
In this picture, I made it black and white, but added the red of the flowers and the green of the tree in the center. I also dimmed the original colors, and saturated it.

Google Slides Reflection

I liked using this tool. It is easy to use, and you can use it for anything. I liked how easy it was to embed a video into the presentation. I also liked how I could control when students saw something in the presentation. Eventually, a teacher is going to have to make a powerpoint presentation, so they might as well use Google Slides. It is easy to insert things into the slides, and you can do anything you want with it. I would use this as a teacher.

I never realized that there was a tool like this for teachers to use. It was fairly easy to navigate, but I liked how they had tutorials for everything, in case I didn't know how to do something. This tool would be helpful to get students to interact with learning a lesson. I would use this as a teacher.

Answer Garden Reflection

Here is the link to the Answer Garden!

It should also be visible on the blog! Make sure you only submit one answer!
I never really thought about using a tool like this to gather information, but after using it, I like it. It is a good way to see what students like over another thing. It also has multiple uses, I can use it to gather information about their favorite food, or what color they like most. I would definitely use this tool as a teacher.

Google Docs

You don't have to worry about saving it, and it is an easy way to communicate with people. It is also helpful to use because if the computer crashes, you won't lose the document. I would definitely use this tool as a teacher.

Class Calendar Reflection

It was not difficult to create a calendar, or to make it public. However, it was difficult to learn and remember how to embed the calendar into my blog. My level of experience with Google Apps is very low, but I am very tech savvy, so I am pretty comfortable with whatever I need to figure out. I think the apps that go along with Docs, Drawings, Slides, and forms will be the most helpful to teachers because they are the tools that teachers will use to create lessons. Depending on the student's grade, any tool can be difficult to figure out, but I think that the same apps will be the most helpful to the students.

EDpuzzle Grammar Assignment

Here is the link to the grammar video: https://edpuzzle.com/media/57e84bd46c45aa312154554c You need to watch the whole thing, and answer the questions as you go along. I really enjoyed using this tool. It was not hard to figure out how to use and I did not have to figure out how to embed it into my blog! I really like how I was able to customize my own video questions instead of having to use questions that other teachers have used. You can actually see if your class understands or not, instead of just hoping that they do. It also is a video, and videos keep students attention as long as it does not take too much time.

Class Symbaloo

Putting together the Symbaloo was not very difficult. It was a little bit hard to find enough websites to use as resources for things such as math, science, reading, and history. I also had to make sure that the websites would be easy enough for little kids to navigate. The most difficult part was figuring out how to embed the Symbaloo in a blog post. I will most definitely use this or a tool like this for my class when I become a teacher.

School Carnival Flyer

I never really thought about using fliers in a classroom before. Once I started thinking about it though, I figured that it would be nice as a parent to receive a paper about something that is going on in my child's school. That way, the parents do not always have to look online to find out what is happening in their child's school. I decided to use Lucid Press and it was tricky to figure out how to start, but I eventually figured out how to use the tools.
