Google Slides Reflection

I liked using this tool. It is easy to use, and you can use it for anything. I liked how easy it was to embed a video into the presentation. I also liked how I could control when students saw something in the presentation. Eventually, a teacher is going to have to make a powerpoint presentation, so they might as well use Google Slides. It is easy to insert things into the slides, and you can do anything you want with it. I would use this as a teacher.

I never realized that there was a tool like this for teachers to use. It was fairly easy to navigate, but I liked how they had tutorials for everything, in case I didn't know how to do something. This tool would be helpful to get students to interact with learning a lesson. I would use this as a teacher.

Answer Garden Reflection

It should also be visible on the blog! Make sure you only submit one answer!
I never really thought about using a tool like this to gather information, but after using it, I like it. It is a good way to see what students like over another thing. It also has multiple uses, I can use it to gather information about their favorite food, or what color they like most. I would definitely use this tool as a teacher.

Google Docs

You don't have to worry about saving it, and it is an easy way to communicate with people. It is also helpful to use because if the computer crashes, you won't lose the document. I would definitely use this tool as a teacher.

Class Calendar Reflection

It was not difficult to create a calendar, or to make it public. However, it was difficult to learn and remember how to embed the calendar into my blog. My level of experience with Google Apps is very low, but I am very tech savvy, so I am pretty comfortable with whatever I need to figure out. I think the apps that go along with Docs, Drawings, Slides, and forms will be the most helpful to teachers because they are the tools that teachers will use to create lessons. Depending on the student's grade, any tool can be difficult to figure out, but I think that the same apps will be the most helpful to the students.

EDpuzzle Grammar Assignment

Here is the link to the grammar video: https://edpuzzle.com/media/57e84bd46c45aa312154554c You need to watch the whole thing, and answer the questions as you go along. I really enjoyed using this tool. It was not hard to figure out how to use and I did not have to figure out how to embed it into my blog! I really like how I was able to customize my own video questions instead of having to use questions that other teachers have used. You can actually see if your class understands or not, instead of just hoping that they do. It also is a video, and videos keep students attention as long as it does not take too much time.

Class Symbaloo

Putting together the Symbaloo was not very difficult. It was a little bit hard to find enough websites to use as resources for things such as math, science, reading, and history. I also had to make sure that the websites would be easy enough for little kids to navigate. The most difficult part was figuring out how to embed the Symbaloo in a blog post. I will most definitely use this or a tool like this for my class when I become a teacher.
